Pierre is Vice-President of Ecole Centrale de Lyon. His responsibilities cover international affairs, industrial partnerships and communication. He is also strongly involved in the Yin Yang project between Ecole Centrale and EM Lyon Business School.
Pierre graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris and holds a Doctorate in Nuclear Physics from Paris University.
After working for the French Atomic Energy Commission, Pierre joined ALTRAN in Paris in 1988, when the company had 300 employees. He was appointed Scientific Director and Vice-President of the Altran Foundation in 1996. He then took the position of Corporate Director of ALTRAN USA in 2001 to launch the group activities in North America. Pierre left ALTRAN in 2006, the company had 17 000 employees.
Pierre then created Dynnovation Consulting, a company specialized in innovation, talent management and creativity. Clients range from utilities to universities on topics from foresight to failure management.
Pierre lectures on different topics ranging from International Project Management, Management of Innovation, Business Ethics and International Business. He is one of the creators of the course on “Innovation and creativity in science” at Harvard.
Pierre is President of the Alumni Association of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Science and Technology.
Pierre is married and has four children.
