Jacques Kabale

Ambassador of Rwanda in France

Mr. Jacques Kabale Nyangezi began his professional career as Legal Counsel from 1985 to 1989. In 1992, he was appointed to the European Commission, where he served as a legal expert in the Directorate of Customs Union and Indirect Taxation and in the Drugs Directorate. He then was promoted to Director Rwandan Ministry of Family and Promotion of Women from 1995 to 2000. He served as Advisor in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning from 2000  In 2001, he was appointed  as Member of the Legal and Constitutional Commission, which is responsible for drafting the Constitution of Rwanda until 2003. He is Consultant to the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, UNICEF and UNDP in 2004, and SIPAAS (Support to the International Partnership Against AIDS in Africa). During 2005 – 2008, he worked at the African Development Bank as a Personal Assistant to the president then Chief Counsel of the Department of Human Resources until 2010.

H.E Jacques Kabale Nyangezi presented his credentials as the Ambassador of Rwanda in France on 2 July 2010.  He is also non-resident Ambassador of Rwanda in Spain, Italy, Greece, Malta, Monaco and Portugal as well as the Permanent Representative of Rwanda to the following international institutions: UNESCO, Francophonie (OIF), FAO, WFP, IFAD, OMT and IBE.
