Neven Marinovic is executive director of Smart Kolektiv, a leading organization in Serbia in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility and social communications. He is also executive coordinator of the Business Leaders Forum Serbia, a business network launched by 14 leading companies in Serbia dedicated to the CSR concept. Neven held numerous trainings and presentations in country and abroad for different audiences in the fields of CSR and Social Marketing. Previous to the founding of Smart Kolektiv, he has worked in advertising, and as an associate of some of the leading Serbian NGOs. He gained formal education at the department for production and cultural management at the Faculty of Drama Arts at the University of Arts, Belgrade, and informal education thru numerous trainings and study visits that took place throughout Europe and USA. He has finished a course for non profit sector leadership of Harvard University (Harvard Kennedy School). He is one of the co-founders and a board member of the first Serbian street paper magazine “ Liceulice”. Neven is also a member of the World Entrepreneurship forum, and a European network of non profit leaders – EUCLID. Mr. Marinovic participates in the work of some other institutions through different forms of engagement such as: member of the national Council for Sustainable Development, member of the Governing Board, NALED (National Alliance for Local Economic Development), member of the Steering Committee of the Global Compact Network in Serbia, and a board member to Exit foundation and Heartefact foundation. Besides his own work as an social entrepreneur and establishment of innovative practices in non profit management in Serbia, Neven is working on stimulating entrepreneurship in Serbia in general, through the establishment of the national program “Youth business Serbia”, aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs by providing them access to knowledge, know how, experienced mentors and financial support.
