Rafael is a successful entrepreneur from Brazil and author of the book ‘Moving Aboard, one step at a time’. Rafael has been living in London since 2000. He started out as a kitchen porter and glass collector in bars in Soho. In 2003 at the age of 22 he started his first property business. By 28 he has bought 2 properties plus his family home. His business reached a £1.2m turnover in 2011 and he successfully sold it in 2014. Rafael has now launched a social relocation platform (Room in the Moon) that helps foreigners move to London and settle down. It was won 4 awards so far. Rafael also successfully ran the International Conference for Startups in 2014 for 300 attendees with speakers from some of the world’s most successful companies.
