Mr. Nadison is currently the Associate Provost (Innovation), Nanyang Technological University, responsible for the promotion of innovation across the university including industry interfaces, technology transfer, spin-off company support and entrepreneurial education.
Mr Nadison is Chairman of the following NTU-related companies: NTU Ventures Pte Ltd, Tech Biz Xccelerator Pte Ltd, Institute of Environmental Science and Engineering Pte Ltd and NanoFrontier Pte Ltd.
In addition, he is a Director of NTUV International Pte Ltd, Confucius Institute NTU Pte Ltd and Nanyang Ventures Consulting (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Nadison served as President, Sylphium SAS, a life sciences consulting firm specializing in biotechnology, nutrition, food, and agriculture. He co-founded and currently acts as Chairman of a French technology start-up which develops software systems designed to address world food security and environmental impact challenges. A 1980 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in Food Science and Nutrition with an MBA from UCLA in International and Comparative Management and Marketing, he has built a diverse international career commercializing R&D and innovation for Fortune 100 MNCs as well as university spin-offs globally.
Prior to establishing his own life science consultancy, Mr. Nadison was President of a business unit of Deere & Company responsible for Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Previously, he served as Member of the Executive Committee of Aventis SA’s BioScience Group. He earlier held various executive and senior management positions with E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Company, Dalgety Plc, and Unilever.
Mr. Nadison has extensive M&A and new business development experience, having consummated over thirty acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, licensing agreements, alliances and research collaborations with a total transactional value exceeding US$750 Million. He has overseen the successful launching of fourteen profitable, proprietary products and has helped launch and nurture 10 technology start-up companies.
